Brain development, imaging and psychopathology

The first research axis is the clinical, anatomical and functional characterisation of psychiatric disorders and their links with brain development.

The exploratory strategy that has been favoured is the study of groups of patients with psychiatric disorders that begin in the first decades of life, at complementary periods: childhood, adolescence, adulthood.

The aim is to highlight anatomical and functional changes in the brain during certain psychiatric syndromes. Comparison with other disorders (e.g. addictions) allows for a more in-depth characterisation of the variations detected.

Vulnerable adolescents and emotional development.
