The clinical, psycho-behavioural and brain imaging assessments of the participants are analysed thanks to the storage, application and calculation servers of the INSERM laboratory, in the heart of the dynamic scientific cluster of the Saclay plateau, within the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, in the immediate vicinity of the Grandes Ecoles (Centrale-Supélec, Polytechnique), the University of Orsay, and academic and corporate research laboratories :

The research of INSERM U 1299 ‘Developmental Trajectories and Psychiatry’ is carried out with the ICM platform. The team has a branch in the radiopediatrics department of the Necker Hospital.

The CENIR at ICM

New research centre on brain diseases located in Paris – Salpêtrière.

The Neuroimaging Research Centre : https://cenir.institutducerveau-icm.org within the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle épinière.

The INSERM U 1299 ‘Developmental Trajectories and Psychiatry’ sequences are run on a Siemens Prisma 3Teslas MRI.

Researchers in the team also use the CENIR TMS.

THE RADIOPEDIATRIC DEPARTMENT OF NECKER-ENFANTS MALADES HOSPITAL (AP-HP, Paris)

Head of department : Pr N. BODDAERT

The INSERM U 1299 ‘Trajectoires Développementales et Psychiatrie’ has a research unit in the paediatric radiology department of the Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades, which has a recent General Electrics 3Teslas MRI scanner, with experienced personnel and all the functionalities for the acquisition of images of the brain in children and adolescents :  https://www.aphp.fr/service/service-18-061

This allows the investigation of normal and pathological brain maturation, including the most severe psychiatric and neurogenetic conditions.

The specialised paediatric environment allows the safe use of premedication and general anaesthesia if necessary.

University centre Saints Pères

An INSERM U 1299 ‘Trajectoires Développementales et Psychiatrie’ (Developmental Trajectories and Psychiatry) unit is located at the Centre Universitaire Saints Pères (https://histoire.inserm.fr/les-lieux/faculte-des-saints-peres)  for research on the trajectories of young people, in relation to environmental factors, and the risks of psychological disorders.

– The international adolescent cohort IMAGEN serves as a reference: 2,000 adolescents from the population/3 waves of psychological, behavioural, neuroimaging and genetic assessments.

– This cohort is compared to measurements of adult volunteers.
